My family and friends and I adored staying at this gorgeous villa.
My family and friends and I adored staying at this gorgeous villa. The surroundings are breathtaking and the house itself is luxurious and modern. You could tell the owners gave attention to every detail and finishing. Everything was spotless, including bathrooms and kitchen. And we appreciated the many amenities, especially the hottub, washer and dryer and barbecue. All of us agreed we wished we could stay longer to enjoy the place. Heiðrún was incredibly responsive and helpful, we could not have had a better stay. Thank you!

We spent 3 nights here in July with 6 adults 3 kids and 1 toddler and it was perfect. Incredible views, lots of space, well stocked…it exceeded our expectations. We were sad to leave!

Heidrun's home was beautiful.
Heidrun's home was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and accommodations perfect for our group. Very responsive and informative host. The hot tub could have been just a bit warmer but overall excellent experience.

Great house with a hot tub in an amazing location. Surrounded by grasslands, riverlands with great views of the mountains on the peninsula. Nice for walking or just relaxing. We had a great time.

He was very responsive and helpful. Very comfortable house. Could have used an extra bathroom for a large crowd and the washer and dryer were small considering a large group and many outdoor activities daily. We did enjoy our stay, just thing to consider and be aware of in advance.

We loved staying here! A spacious, comfortable house with amazing views. We spent many hours in the hot tub enjoying the solitude and crater views. Easy location for various trips around the Peninsula. Stock up on groceries and gas in Bogarnes. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay if you're looking to explore Snaefellsness. Great accommodation for a large group / family with multiple beds and rooms. The home and rooms were exactly like the photos - clean and well-kept. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

What an amazing location!
What an amazing location! Was perfect for our group of 9 and everyone enjoyed the modern amenities, hot tub, amazing view and large dining table to gather at and enjoy a meal together. The location was a great starting point to explore the penninsula and the view of the crater was stunning. If you are a large group, make sure you bring food for breakfast as the closest coffee shop was not prepared for a large group to invade them and some of our group had to go without anything substantial for breakfast as they ran out of prepared food. The coffee was delicious though. Our only regret was that we could only get this place for one night as it was already booked for the second night we wanted, but glad we got to experience it for one night.

beautiful house in a perfect spot to explore both borgarnes area and snaefellsnes area. big automatic hot pot in the house, nice information from the owner to the surroundings and very clear info about the house itself also. second time we stay with heidrún, and it's been amazing just as the first time. we will come back to one of her houses soon.

We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay here. The size was more than plenty for two families, everything was so clean and well thought out, and there are gorgeous views everywhere you look. Heiðrún was so accommodating in providing an extra crib and high chairs for our toddlers. And the hot tub!!!! Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous place!! Amazing location. Perfect place to see the northern lights. My family really enjoyed using the hot tub, and the house was very comfortable. We were a group of 6 couples. Would definitely recommend!

Heiðeún was super communicative and gave clear instructions to the house - check in was a breeze. Also the home itself is even better than the pictures! The hot tub was amazing and we were even able to catch the northern lights from the hot tub itself - we couldn't ask for more. The kitchen is very well equipped and has anything a large group would need. Great location for exploring the peninsula too. Cannot recommend highly enough! 10/10

This was an amazing stay and a true gem of Iceland.
This was an amazing stay and a true gem of Iceland. Home was very spacious and well kept, very comfortable for our group of 11. The kitchen was a dream to cook in (with few restaurants nearby, this was very helpful). Watching the northern lights from the huge hot tub was an unforgettable experience. The hosts were very kind and responsive and we are grateful that they welcomed us into their home.

My family of five (two adults, three teenagers) just got home from a week long Iceland road trip and spent three nights at Heidrun's home right at the entrance to the Snaefellsness Peninsula.
My family of five (two adults, three teenagers) just got home from a week long Iceland road trip and spent three nights at Heidrun's home right at the entrance to the Snaefellsness Peninsula. We loved her home so much - it was exactly as described and we were able to rest and spread out after spending many nights in hotels and hours in the car. The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable (we slept SO well), the kitchen was perfectly equipped for me to make home-cooked meals, and the hot tub was a dream. We had a lot of cloudy and snowy days so we did not see the northern nights on our trip but if you had a clear night - this would the PERFECT place to experience them as the home is very private. We felt like we were in our own little world. We also loved the proximity to the Snaefellsness Peninsula - it made for a very easy 1/2 day trip for us. When we return to Iceland, I would 100% stay here again and I will recommend it to friends who are visiting. Thank you!!!

Probably my favorite Airbnb that I have stayed in.
Probably my favorite Airbnb that I have stayed in. The views are stunning and you can tell that the hosts are experienced. There was a lot of thought and care that went into this place. We were not in need of anything. There were extra towels, a blender and even a food scale. Will definitely be checking out one of their other properties on our next Icelandic adventure!

My family and I had a perfect stay here! There was plenty of room for all 7 of us! My son loved that there were some toys there for him. We walked the property in the mornings. Relaxed in the hot tub at night while watching for the northern lights. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed! The beds were comfortable and the linens were warm and nice. I honestly wish we could have stayed here even longer!

Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely amazing! Can't really say enough - place was pristine, beautiful, breathtaking views from every window. So comfortable in every way - bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen - the hosts have seen to every possible detail. In addition to providing clear instructions and information by message, there is a book in the house listing everything from how things work in the house to so many things to do in the area - what to see, where to eat, shops, etc. And that hot tub.... You just have to experience it :-) Truly spectacular - highly recommend!
